Why? It’s what your audience is expecting. Which makes it predictable. In other words – lacking in impact.
So what should your first slide be?
An image. But not just any image. An unexpected image with deep meaning. One that connects with and moves your audience. That makes an impact.
Remember we’re now living in an age where EQ is just as critical to your ability to lead as IQ. So if your logical mind worries that your audience will be lost without a title slide, reassure yourself that your second slide can now be your title slide.
Just not the first – so you can lead with impact.
