For over 150 years OfficeMax New Zealand has been supporting workplaces and communities, beginning with the establishment of the printing and publishing company Coulls Somerville Wilkie in 1871. Building on this legacy while looking to the future, across the organisation the OfficeMax team is united and guided by a powerful purpose – to empower sustainable and successful workplaces.

With the nature of our workplaces changing dramatically over recent times, OfficeMax has continued to adapt and transform their business. A critical component of this strategic transformation was the development of the organisation’s senior leadership team – enabling the business to more rapidly adapt through innovative leadership approaches. Encompassing the spirit of ‘Maxing the Future’ we were engaged to design and facilitate a leadership experience that challenged and elevated the team’s strategic thinking.

With a highly knowledgeable group of subject matter experts taking part, it was essential to go beyond fundamental concepts – while strongly aligning with OfficeMax’s strategic priorities and behaviours. Our goal was to tackle the specific challenge of bringing the transformative strategy to life, while simultaneously challenging and inspiring this diverse and experienced group. Our distinctive Futurist approach seamlessly blended presentation with collaboration, leveraging our leadership toolkit to equip the OfficeMax team to move a future ready strategy into action.
