Strong ideas can change the world.
They can also keep the status quo in place..
Which means strong ideas are critical for both stability and progress.
The trouble is that sometimes strong ideas ensure stability when what is needed is progress. We have all experienced it. Perhaps even been guilty of it. Advocating our own perspective powerfully, without having fully considered the alternatives.
This might be okay if everyone advocated their perspective with the same power – however we all know this is not the case. Power imbalances are all around us. The loudest voice in the room is not necessarily right. In fact often the quietest voices have seen what others have missed.
We will never know without letting go...
